Blue Spring launched in May of 2013. We initially launched with three towers, serving a very limited portion of Cache County. In Box Elder county we started with one tower servicing Riverside, Fielding, and Plymouth. Back then we offered 5, 10, & 15Mbps plans, with up to 300GB of data per month. We acquired PDQ-Xchange in Hyrum, and we integrated and upgraded their tower sites. We welcomed the new PDQ customers into our network, and upgraded all of their home installations.
We completed buildout and finished upgrades to our Wellsville and Mt. Sterling tower sites. We also completed buildout of our first and second Nibley towers.
This year we expanded our network to provide service in Paradise, Avon, and all the way up North in Lewiston.
Expanded our service to 'The Island'. We built out two new sites in College Ward. We expanded our Box Elder County network to include Tremonton, Garland, and Collinston. Built out new sites in Mendon, covering the West bench.
We added a call center with 24/7/365 support! Added a tower site in Cove that also expands our coverage to Lewiston, and North Richmond. Upgraded equipment to offer new 25Mbps plans. Raised data limits to 500GB per month.
Expanded our coverage more. Built out new sites to cover Trenton, Richmond, and Cornish. Got rid of data caps and overage charges, that were necessary during our early growth stages. We now offer fully UNLIMITED service!
Doubled the speed on our highest plan from 25 to 50Mbps, at no additional charge. We now offer 10, 25, and 50Mbps plans. Built out a new site in Franklin, Idaho, which expands our coverage to Lewiston and Cove as well.
Purchased the Ridgecrest tower property in Hyrum from PDQ. We moved onto this site in 2013.
Completed a brand new tower site above Hyrum Dam, called 'Nautica'. This is our fifth Hyrum tower site, and it has a beautiful view of Cache Valley.
Core Infrastructure Expansion: Rebuilt the core NOC and finalized the redundant fiber project, adding substantial bandwidth and multi-homed upstream protection against fiber cuts. Expanded network footprint with a new site on Mendon's West Bench and acquired the Petersboro mountain tower property.
